Attorney in Immigration Law and Workforce Relocation
Cristina González Chong has more than two decades of experience in the practice of law, with a practice particularly focused on immigration, administrative, and procedural law. She obtained her Law and Political Science degree from the University of Panama and continued her academic training at the University of Rosario in Argentina, where she pursued studies in Litigation and a Doctorate in Law.
Before entering private practice, she worked for four years as an official at the National Directorate of Immigration and Naturalization, an experience that allowed her to gain first-hand knowledge of immigration procedures from an institutional perspective.
Throughout her career, she has provided legal services and advice for the relocation of foreign employees of major companies across various sectors of the economy, including construction, hospitality, infrastructure, and energy, as well as multinational companies and businesses operating under special regimes in Panama.
Currently, her practice focuses on attracting, assisting, and providing 360° relocation advisory services to high-net-worth foreign investors through special laws and residency programs such as the Qualified Investor Visa, also known as the Golden Visa, Economic Solvency Visa, and other applicable immigration categories. Clients choose her for her experience, legal judgment, practical knowledge of procedures before Panamanian authorities, and ability to assist at every stage of the legal relocation process in Panama.
