
Founding Partner & CEO — Attorney and Maritime Engineer
Moisés Iván George has a distinguished professional career in the maritime, legal, and academic fields, supported by more than three decades of experience in the maritime industry and in the practice of law in the Republic of Panama. He obtained his degree as a Nautical Engineer from the Murmansk Higher School of Marine Engineering in 1989. He later completed his Law and Political Science degree at Universidad Latina de Panamá in 2001, combining a solid technical and legal background. Before dedicating himself exclusively to the professional practice of law, he developed an important career in the maritime sector, first working as a Nautical Engineer and later serving for more than twelve (12) years in the Operations Department of the shipping agency C. Fernie & Co., S.A., where he gained extensive practical experience in maritime, port, and logistics operations.
He is the author of “Principales Riesgos Cubiertos por los Clubes de Protección e Indemnización (P&I Clubs)”, a reference publication for professionals connected to the maritime and insurance sectors. In the academic field, he has served as Professor of Maritime Law at Universidad Interamericana de Panamá and as instructor of Navigation Simulation at Universidad Columbus, contributing to the training of new generations of professionals in the maritime sector.
He is a member of the Panamanian Association of Marine Officers (APOM) and the Panama National Bar Association, maintaining active participation in the development and strengthening of the country’s maritime and legal community. His professional practice is distinguished by the combination of maritime technical knowledge, operational experience, and solid legal training, allowing him to provide comprehensive legal advice in areas such as Maritime Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Labor Law, Real Estate, and International Business.
